Isn't this the cutest thing ever? So I got the magazine Country Home the other day and as I was looking through it I found this adorable canvas apron idea! Last night I went to WalMart for some laundry dtgt and was skimming the clearance aisles and came across some canvas aprons for 2 bucks!! I think this would make such a cute gift for someone who is crafty!! I love it! Check out http://www.countryhome.com/ for great project ideas! Here is how they say to make it...Purchase a canvas apron with front pocket (we found ours at The Home Depot). Measure, cut, and top-stitch a sturdy piece of vintage fabric on the entire pocket. Add a center vertical row of stitching for stability and to create two pockets. On each end add small pockets with coordinating fabric.
